Fio explains it to Maria

Theo can’t have dairy tonight. Use the oat milk with the blue cap.

Right now, your home runs on sticky notes and thumbs-ups.

You leave a note on the fridge. You send a WhatsApp. You say it again at breakfast. And you still get to the office wondering if it landed.

A thumbs-up isn’t the same as understood.

What we heard in conversations with 40+ families

“I keep repeating myself.”
Employers. They send the message, then check again, because they’re never sure the detail was understood.
“I don’t want to ask again.”
Helpers. Asking twice feels awkward, especially across languages. So they guess, or rely on memory.
“It depends who it’s for.”
Everyone. One home holds many people, each with their own allergies, habits, likes and exceptions.

One Thursday afternoon at the Dupont home.

Theo had a reaction to milk at school. Here’s how that reaches Maria, and back.

You add a change, in your own words.

Type it the way you’d text it. Fio picks out who it’s about, when it applies, and whether it’s a one-off.

Maria can ask without feeling awkward.

Fio answers from what it knows about your home. If it isn’t sure, it checks with you instead of guessing.

Tanong kay Fio

Alin ang gatas?

Alin pong oat milk? Dalawa po sa ref.

Which oat milk? There are two in the fridge.

Yung may asul na takip, sa itaas na shelf. May asukal yung isa.

    Prefers updates on WhatsApp

  1. Say it once

Write it the way you’d text it. Fio turns it into clear steps, and remembers it for next time.

  2. Know it landed

Your helper taps “Understood” after reading it in their own language. No more decoding a thumbs-up.

  3. See it done

A photo or a short note when it matters. Not a running commentary all day.

  4. Your home, remembered

Who’s allergic to what, whose milk is whose, when Grandma visits. Nobody has to hold it all in their head.

What we heard most from helpers

Fair to your helper, too.

Most mix-ups aren’t carelessness. They’re a second language, a rule nobody explained, or a question that felt awkward to ask. Fio fixes that side too.

  • Explanations in their own language, with the reason behind each rule.
  • A safe way to ask, so nobody has to guess.
  • Good work that gets seen, and thanked.

One plan. Everything included.

No tiers to compare and no add-ons. One price for your whole household, however many updates you send.
